Missing pilot in Darfur found safe

A Russian helicopter pilot missing since the start of the week was found safe late today in southern Darfur, the joint United Nations-African Union peacekeeping mission in the war-ravaged Sudanese region confirmed.

Emirates to Add A340-500 Aircraft on Tripoli Route

Dubai-based carrier Emirates reaffirmed its commitment to Libya today, announcing that it will introduce its Airbus A340-500 on the Tripoli route. From 1st August 2010, Emirates will offer a total of 3,612 seats per week between Tripoli and Dubai representing an increase of nine percent in passenger capacity.
